December 6, 2024 at 12:42 pmThis movie wraps up Ti West’s X trilogy pretty well, tying everything together from the previous two films and throwing in some fun Easter eggs along the way. The 80s LA vibe, with the real-life Night Stalker kilings in the background, is a cool touch. The cast was awesome, and Mia Goth crushed it again as expected.
But here is the deal this movie has a lot going on and doesn’t quite know where its headed. Its like it tried to juggle too many things at once. The ending, in particular feels rushed and kind of a letdown… it left me wishing for a different outcome. Still, overall, it was a solid watch and wraps up one of the best horror trilogies out there.
